Sombreros off to the planning committee for this year’s Cinco de Mayo. The annual celebration was held at one of our ALIG members’ home to celebrate  Mexican  Independence Day.

Over 130 guests joined together to enjoy a true Mexican buffet bursting with homemade pot luck, catch up with friends and other ALIG members and to dance the night away with a great band. The venue was beautifully decorated by the committee in traditional Mexican style complete with pinyatas and colourful cut-outs. Many of the guests joined in the carnival atmosphere with their colourful Mexican dresses and outfits. The Cinco de Mayo has become  such a popular party, it has become an annual event.
