Such a rewarding time at Southville 3A School!

Last June 3, marked the end of the school’s ‘Brigada Eskwela’, their clean-up before the start of the new school year, and it was quite a party!

200 employees from IBEX, a sponsor introduced by ALIG, brought paint and cleaning supplies and manpower to help with the clean-up, but also to entertain our ALIG sponsored children as they waited to be measured for their uniforms.

150 very excited children and their parents gathered at the event and, grade by grade, each child was measured for their uniform, PE kit and black and sports shoes.

Meanwhile, a jeepney full of Jollibee meals arrived, and the Jollibee mascot himself, who performed his famous dance for everyone. Each child left armed with a backpack, Jollibee lunch, loot bag and a huge smile!

Just 2 weeks later, all uniform and shoe orders were in and on Tuesday 21st June we surprised our sponsored children at school, during their ALIG sponsored lunch, with their new kits.

All of our money raising efforts throughout the year have made this possible. Thank you to all of you that have contributed in your many different ways to make this happen. It is a team effort and we have worked hard together to achieve something so worthwhile!
