Alabang Fire

On Friday, August 13, 2016, a community in Alabang suffered a devastating fire. Affected were approximately 321 families (1206 individuals).

Sadly, it has been confirmed that there were two fatalities. The loss of life and personal belongings is catastrophic.

ALIG Charity coordinators and board members presented a check for 150,000 pesos to the Red Cross Philippines of Muntinlupa. Our trusted partner will utilize the money to provide hot meals and a hygiene kit for each family during this tragic time.

The donation today was made possible through member donations, our wonderful ALIG sponsors, the annual charity ball and other events throughout the year.

ALIG continues to look for opportunities to support our community in which we live. We are grateful for the involvement of our sponsors and volunteers with our charity programs.
